I am a marketing major, laid off in August of 2008. My job for the last 25 years has been organizing Trade Shows on a Grand scale for Corporations.
In September I decided I was going to take my 25 years of knowledge and do my own thing. And with the love of my life, Carlos, I began my own business. For those of you who find yourself without a job, I recommend a book called "The Joys of Not Working" By"Ernie J. Zelinski. It truly inspired me, as did "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle.
A happy person is a person that chooses to make a living doing what they love—and NOW,

Update: Michele was laid off from her DOM home job and has joined North of Oz Designs as an equal partner. I have found gold!
Along with this new task, she is an accomplished Marketing Guru, President of the PTA, has two more kids plus a wonderful, caring husband, Billy Gates, who is a Head Football Coach, not pictured. Michele...A true friend...my best friend.

Dr. Thomas Eric, Dr. of Music Composition from Florida State University, Renowned Celloist, Professor at UCO in Oklahoma teachng Music Theory and Composition and dedicated, loving father.
Update:
Thomas will be joining a great school when the new "School of Rock" is finished being built in Oklahoma City, teaching students Rock and Roll. This is a London based School who chose Okc for it's American location. I am very proud of him
